Told her she was just out of sight

Met another girl at the Whisky
Told her I would take her by force
Though I was aware it was risky

Maybe it was just lack of timing
Maybe I'd been lonely too long

Took my Chevy up on the freeway
saw this lady holding a rope
I slowed down,said:"Hey,I'm a D.J.
How d'ya like a brainful of dope?"
She shook her head and said:"Darlin' beat it.
My car broke down.

but leave the dope,I doubt that you need it.
Did I mention that I work as a cop?"
